Lift and Slide Doors
The Lift and Slide Door has been designed to cater to extremely wide openings, allowing for uninterrupted vistas, a smooth transition between indoor and outdoor spaces, and ample natural light. This has been achieved without compromising on the signature qualities of ease of use, security, and overall performance.
Finetech Windows and Doors offers two different lift and slide door systems: the Defender 76LS and the Defender 88LS. Both systems provide smooth operation, but the Defender 76LS is recommended for smaller openings (less than 15 feet wide), while the Defender 88LS is recommended for larger openings (up to 21 feet wide). These doors are available in 2, 3, or 4 panels and come in various exterior and interior finishes.
The lift and slide door systems are equipped with advanced operating hardware that is designed to be durable, particularly for larger doors. To operate, simply turn the large handle, which will disengage the secure locking mechanism, allowing you to lift the door with ease. Once lifted, a light touch is all that is needed to activate our innovative sliding technology, which makes opening the door a breeze.

The lift and slide doors are made using our unique Hybrid Framing System which includes strong European uPVC profiles with steel reinforcement and fusion welded corners. This creates a sturdy door that can accommodate extra-large openings. Moreover, our lift and slide doors come with a highly durable and technologically advanced compression gasket, which offers superior sealing from air and water compared to traditional brush seal gaskets. This results in better energy efficiency and water resistance, making our sliding patio doors stand out from others in the market.
